BIOGRAPHY

Lindsay Clavere is a native of Utah. She began her musical studies at the age of six. Her teachers included Dr. Douglas Humpherys, Dr. Paul Pollei, at Brigham Young University. Following her university studies, she was on scholarship for five years to study with the world-renowned pianist/composer Dr. Seymour Bernstein in New York City. Lindsay has given recitals in North and South America. In 1998 she made her South American debut tour, with sold-out performances. She has played piano solo, piano duo and chamber music recitals in concert series such as Temple Square Concert Series in Salt Lake City, Pro-Cultura Musical of Rosario, Nicholas Music center in Rutgers New Jersey, Steinway Hall in New York City. She was a prize winner in the Utah Collegiate Piano Competition and a finalist in the Leschetizky International Piano Competition in New York City.
As a teacher Lindsay has given master classes through North America. She has developed and maintained an active teaching studio where her students have received many awards and recognition such as prize winners in the Bartok-Kavalevsky-Prokofiev International Piano Competition (VA), prize in the New Jersey Music Teachers Association State Competition, and the East Brunswick Young Musicians's prize winners, and most frequently first place in the Ohio Music Teachers Association ensemble competition.
